Course Description

Your previous training and experience has given you general administrative and support skills for a variety of Microsoft® client computers and for most fundamental networking technologies. If your job requires you to administer a network based on Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 computers, or if you plan to obtain Microsoft® certification in Windows Server™ 2003, you will need to acquire some additional management skills that are specific to that operating system. In this course, you will learn skills for managing a Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 environment.

Course Objective: You will manage a Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 environment.

Target Student: An entry-level systems administrator with basic desktop and network support skills who wants to be able to manage a Windows Server™ 2003 domain or workgroup environment, or who is preparing for the Microsoft® certification exam 70-290: Managing And Maintaining a Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 Environment.

Prerequisites: CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications, or equivalent skills and knowledge. You can obtain this level of skill and knowledge by taking the following courses:
